Mayor Yockey called the meeting to order and lead the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag at 7:00 p.m. Commissioners present: Blount, Davis, DeLuca, Ramirez, Stempien, Tanis. Also present: City Manager Horton, Police Chief Selby, Police Sergeant Leathers, DDA Director Malzahn, Fire Chief Klobucar, Clerk/Treasurer Sawicki-Franz and Public. Commissioners approved: Agenda as modified; Consent Agenda with minutes and Bills $316,890.33; Guest Speaker: Ruth Hughes Memorial District Library Director Ryan Tackabury; Police Chief Selby presented a Letter of Professional Excellence to Officer Scigel; Maintain PD decommissioned Dodge Charger for two months; PD draft budget increase $15,816.15 for FY 25-26; recusal of Commissioner Tanis from next two agenda items; DPW Barn Renovations bid-Tanis Builders $208,134.04; DDA built pavilion on City owned property-Farmer’s Market Park; Application for Business Registration forms; 2025 season swim lesson price increases; City Proclamation for Arbor Day; Remove Earl Gass from full-time ZBA member to an alternant; Appoint Mike Vermeesch to ZBA for a three-year term; Appoint Robert Haskins to ZBA for a three-year term; Adjournment 7:45 p.m. Submitted by Dawn Sawicki-Franz, City Clerk.
