BOARD MEETING SYNOPSIS
February 10, 2025
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Supervisor Winn. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Members present: Parks, Klos, Winn, Christian and Wittstock. January minutes approved. Treasurer’s report approved. Fire report: 15 runs last month, approval for: adjustments of line-items in budget, purchase of gloves and flapper belt and new printer. Planning Commission: 1 split combo on Sperry and 1 split on Messmer approved. Zoning Board of Appeals: meeting cancelled. Senior report: exercise is every Monday at 11a.m. and cards is every Tuesday at noon; next potluck is 2/25. Park report: approved monies for Easter Egg Hunt to be held on 4/13 (2 p.m.). Discussed: budget workshop 3/5 at 10 a.m., KISM bills approved to pay, annual road tour will be 4/15 at 8 a.m., thanks to Matt Pogue for installing ice rink, still waiting for landscape bids and township hall will be open (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) on 2/14 and 2/28 for tax collections – taxes paid on 2/28 will include additional interest. Audience: mentioned that Road Commission is doing a good job plowing the roads. Motion to adjourn 8:15 p.m. A complete copy of the unapproved current minutes is available at the township hall during business hours and on the township website within a couple of days of the meeting.
