REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2024
SYNOPSIS
President Debra Hlubic called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. In attendance were Council Members Joseph Herrington, Mary Klug, Lynne Mandeville, and Samantha Ramirez, along with Village Manager Travis Youatt and Clerk LeAnn Brewer.
The following motions were approved: approval of the November 18, 2024, regular meeting agenda; approval of the October 21, 2024, regular meeting minutes; approval of October 28, 2024, special meeting minutes; approval of bills totaling $157,082.90; to authorize the Village President Debra Hlubic to enter into an agreement to bring the Village of Capac’s Building Department in-house; approval of the DPW Supervisor’s employment agreement; adoption of the ordinance to amend Chapter 30 of the Village of Capac Code of Ordinances to add Section 30-30. “Keeping of the “Chickens”; approval of the bid from KRS Equities of $20,400.00 to install an ADA-compliant bathroom at 206 N. Main Street; approval of the bid from Nicol and Sons Inc. of $11,640.00 to waterproof and add install drains at 206 N. Main Street; to authorize Village Manager Travis Youatt to spend up to $7,000.00 for ADA-compliant playscape additions at Lions Park.
