Mayor Kempf called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag at 7 p.m. Commissioners present: Sadler, Collison, DeLuca, Tanis, Yockey; Commissioners absent: Ramirez; Also present: City Manager Horton, DDA Director Malzahn, DDA Market Manager/Promotions Assistant Bishop, Clerk/Treasurer Sawicki-Franz and Public. Commissioners approved: Agenda; Consent Agenda with minutes and bill payments $668,349.59; J&J Liquidators Lease of Old Fire Hall for $12,500; SPARK Grant Prime Professional bid-Rowe $110,600; Appoint John Genord to DDA 4-year term; Recuse Commissioner Yockey; appoint Barbara Yockey to DDA 4-year term; Parade Permit 2024-03 Annual Borland & Weston Walking Costume Parade October 31, 2:30 p.m-3:30 p.m.; Special Event Permit #2024-13 Winterfest Saturday, December 7, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Imlay City Trick-or-Treat Hours-Thursday, October 31, 6 p.m-8 p.m.; Adjournment 7:53 p.m. Submitted by Dawn Sawicki-Franz, City Clerk.
