AMENDMENT OF THE ALMONT TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE NO. 75
An Ordinance amending the Almont Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to provide for temporary dwellings in emergencies and repeal any and all ordinances and/or Resolutions in conflict therewith.
THE TOWNSHIP OF ALMONT, LAPEER COUNTY, MICHIGAN ORDAINS:
Section 1.
1. Remove Article 10, Section 10.5, Paragraph A, Approval of Temporary Dwellings.
2. Article 2 – General Provisions, add Section 2.34 – Temporary Dwelling in Emergencies
Section 2. Repeal of Conflicting Provisions
Section 3. Severability
Section 4. Publication
Section 5. Effective Date
A complete copy of the Ordinance is available for inspection or purchase at the Almont Township Offices during regular business hours.
The undersigned Clerk of the Township of Almont hereby certify that this Ordinance was duly adopted by the Township Board at a meeting held on the 14th day of October, 2024 and was published in the Tri-City Times on the 16thth day of October, 2024. This Ordinance shall be effective fifteen (15) days after said date of publication.
