Mayor Pro Tem Sadler called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag at 7 p.m. Commissioners present: DeLuca, Ramirez, Tanis, Yockey; Commissioners absent: Mayor Kempf, Collison; Also present: City Manager Horton, DDA Director Malzahn, Fire Chief Klobucar, Police Chief Selby, Police Sergeant Leathers, Clerk/Treasurer Sawicki-Franz and Public. Commissioners approved: Agenda with addition; Consent Agenda with minutes and bill payments $1,404,166.16; First Reading-COO False Alarms; First Reading COO Fire Lanes; First Reading Tax Exemption Ordinance-Townsend II PILOT request; Special Event Permit-Class of 1999 Lions Park; Special Event Permit-Merchant Trick-Or-Treat and Halloween Party in the Market Saturday, October 26 11a.m.-3p.m.; Resolution 2024-14; M-53 Median Bid-Moors Masonry $18,200; Closed session 8:30 p.m.; Open session 8:38 p.m.; Land Contract purchase $75,000 property at 118/122 E.
