Local community prayer and Bible study in September

Dear Editor,

There will be a community prayer event on Sunday, September 22 at 2 p.m. at the Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds in Imlay City. All are invited to come!!! May bring your own chair or there are bleachers.

This will be the fifth annual September prayer.

September is the month of beginnings, and it is a good time to come together in unity and faith! We will be praying for our children and grandchildren, our families, our neighbors, our schools, our churches, our farmers, our businesses, and our government. As the body of Christ, we have both the privilege and the responsibility to pray! We can be confident that God hears our prayers and stands ready to answer. Prayer brings us into the very presence of the Sovereign Loving Almighty God who cares for us!

Also starting is Bible Study Fellowship. This Bible study is open to new or experienced. It will begin on Tuesday evening, September 10 for both men and women and on Wednesday mornings for women on September 11. It will be located at the Imlay City Christian Reformed Church on Cedar St. BSF is an in-depth, interdenominational community Bible study and this year’s study will be on the book of Revelation.
