Dryden turns back North Huron in league action

DRYDEN — The Dryden varsity volleyball team returned from North Huron with a 25-20, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23 North Central Thumb League triumph last Thursday night.

Erin Boettcher paced Dryden, registering 18 kills. She was backed by Alyssa Daoud (15 kills), Ashley Hickmott (four), Becca Weiss (two) and Erin Paton (one).

Boettcher (seven), Paton (six), Natalie Embree (four) along with Daoud and Grondin (one each) contributed Dryden’s digs.

The lone Dryden block went to Boettcher.

Daoud (four), Weiss and Hickmott (three apiece) plus Grondin (two) supplied Dryden’s ace serves.

Dryden also received 40 assists from Weiss.
