Bobowski plays well for Harvard
ALMONT — Macomb’s Lauren Bobowski, a Dakota High School graduate, finished her debut campaign with the Harvard University women’s softball team recently.
The freshman out-
fielder wound up with eight hits in 28 official trips to the plate, leaving her with a batting
average of .286. Her assortment of hits included six singles, a double and an inside the park home run (against Gardner Webb on February 29).
Bobowski finished with a .394 on-base percentage and a .429 slugging percentage.
She also contributed eight runs, five walks, three stolen bases and two RBI to Harvard’s cause.
