ALMONT TOWNSHIP BOARD REGULAR MEETING SYNOPSIS SEPTEMBER 14, 2026 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Supervisor Gary Groesbeck at 819 N. Main Street, Almont, Michigan 48003. MEMBERS PRESENT: Supervisor Groesbeck, Clerk Krauss, Treasurer Streeter, Trustees Chriss, Eschenburg, and Sweers. ABSENT: Trustee Dodge. The following actions were taken: 1) Approved agenda and consent agenda; 2) Rescinded approval of Building Department Operational Guidelines adopted July 13, 2026; 3) Adopted the Building Department Operational Guidelines in board packet; 4) Reduced reinspection fee for building department to $75; 5) Authorized review of Building Department Operational Guidelines by Attorney; 6) Adopted Resolution for Temporary construction container for 6 months; 7) Authorized hire of 2 Fire Cadets for 1 year.
