Imlay City wins 12U title at Capac

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City 12U baseball team went 4-0 en route to a first-place finish at the CYBL All-Star Tournament in Capac this past weekend.

The squad began their title-producing path last Saturday with a 4-3 win against Armada Tigers Select 12U.

Later that day, they picked up an 8-3 victory over Imlay City 11U.

The squad then improved to 3-0, thanks to a 12-2 triumph against Elba Bulldogs on Sunday.

That outcome was followed by a 10-4 win over Armada Orange, leaving them with a first-place finish to show for their efforts.

Nolyn Parrot, Ben Creamer, Lucas Furgerson, Colton Ailor, Grant Maier, Hayden Elwart, Hunter Elwart, Hayden Wilcox, Mason Grover, Noah Hansen, Myles Lakawskas and Wyatt Reif comprised their championship roster.  They were coached by Scott Parrot, Shane Ailor and Nick Furgerson.
