TRI-CITY AREA — Six players from the Tri-City Area competed for the West squad in a 12-6 loss to the East team in the Blue Water Area Senior All-Star Baseball game on Tuesday, June 23.
Richmond High School is where the action unfolded.
Capac’s Wiley Roose went 1-2, with a triple, that evening.
The catcher also picked off an opposing baserunner attempting to steal from his position at catcher.
Capac’s Austin Howard managed one hit, a single, in his two at bats during the game.
He split his time in the field between first base, second base and third base.
Capac’s Brody Tesnow wound up zero for two at the plate that evening.
However, he was able to register an impressive accomplishment nonetheless. He played all nine positions during the game.
Imlay City’s Sam Edson finished with a single in his two at bats.
He lined up defensively at second base, shortstop, left field, center field and right field in the contest.
Imlay City’s Brady Detwiler wound up zero for two and waited out a walk.
He played five positions throughout the game, splitting his time between second, shortstop, left field, center field and right field.
Dryden’s Ian Tresnak competed for the West squad as well, going zero for two.
He saw action as a pitcher and a second baseman.
Luke Pretty (Armada), Kaden Meeks (Armada), Migel Navarro (Armada), Marshall Ridenour (Armada), Liam Francek (Brown City), Jaxon Trombly (Brown City), Jan Pohlman (Peck), Peyton Bowerman (Sandusky), Chase Green (Sandusky), Bryce Kiley (Sandusky) and Cole Peltier (Yale) joined them on the West squad.
Johnny Swamba (Richmond), Steven Walther (Algonac), Cole Thaler (Algonac), Dakota Droptiny (Marine City), Cole Cooper (Marysville), Mason Peyerk (Memphis), Keegan Walsh (Memphis), Joseph Doddy (Cardinal Mooney), Jacob Michaux (Cardinal Mooney), Jackson Salter (Cardinal Mooney), Carson Nichols (Port Huron), Joey Seppo (Port Huron), Cameron Tesluck (Port Huron), Ashton Cook (Port Huron), Jaxon Sherrod (Port Huron Northern), Gaige Towner (Richmond), Cameron Murray (Richmond), Joey Joudi (Richmond), Tyler Starr (St. Clair) and Jack Shafer (St. Clair) appeared on the East team’s roster that evening.
