Medley helps East to 22-21 victory

ALMONT — The East team, which listed  Almont defensive lineman Dominic Medley on its roster, pulled out a 22-21 victory over the West squad in the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association All-Star Game last Saturday evening.

Lawrence Tech University is where the action unfolded.

 In Saturday’s battle, the West team grabbed a 7-6 edge after one quarter was complete.

Quarter two saw the West squad generate seven points and the East collected none. It allowed them to go up 14-6 at the half.

When the action resumed, the East team bounced back with a 6-0 third quarter advantage. That closed the gap to 14-12.

The East squad then put together a 10-7 fourth quarter rally, pulling out a 22-21 victory.
