April 13, 2026
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Supervisor Winn. Pledge of Allegiance recited.
Members present: Klos, Parks, Winn, Christian & Wittstock. March minutes approved. Treasurer’s report approved. Fire report: 17 runs last month; hired Ian Grant; new skid has been ordered. Planning Commission: 1 split approved and questions about an event venue answered. Senior report: exercise is every Monday at 11 a.m .and cards is every Tuesday at noon; next potluck is 4/28. Park report: Easter Egg Hunt went well, Country Garage Sale will be 6/11-13 ($10 to get on map; applications available at twp. hall through 6/4 deadline). Discussed: approved: General and Fire Department budgets, Holiday Schedule, resolutions for Elected Official wages, Fee Schedule, Wage Schedule, $0.70 mileage reimbursement, Choice One as bank of record, Tri-City Times as newspaper of record; approved to purchase basketball hoops and pickleball court net for park and Clean-Up Day will be 6/13 (8 a.m.-3 p.m.); Township Planner discussed updates to the Master Plan. Audience: question about Macomb County warning answered. Motion to adjourn 8:15 p.m. A complete copy of the unapproved current minutes is available at the township hall during business hours and on the township website within a couple days of the meeting.
