Almont brings home a fourth

TRI-CITY AREA — Rachael Johnson shot a 45 and Noele Bourdeau carded a 51, helping Almont to a fourth-place showing at a Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree on Monday.

Castle Creek Golf Course, in Lum, is where the action unfolded.

Yale won the team title with a 191 total They were followed by North Branch (201), Armada (206) and Almont (217).

Richmond, Imlay City and Rochester Hills Lutheran Norrthwest also competed, but did not field complete lineups.

Eva Rayl and Alexis Redner rounded out Almont’s scoring attack. They managed a 59 and a 62, respectively.

Ava Shack (60), Kendall Jones (67) and Sara Belleville (78) represented Imlay City that day.
