Cards fall against visiting Memphis

DRYDEN — Dryden fell 16-25, 19-25, 9-25 to visiting Memphis in a varsity volleyball match it hosted on Tuesday, August 26.

With the decision, Dryden slips to 0-1 this season.

Mallory Barker and Karley Phillips (six, including an ace each), Kayla Lapka (five),McKinley Gammon (four, featuring two aces), Hailey Messerschmidt (three, including an ace), Claire Wright (two) and Caila Fitchett (one) supplied Dryden’s service points.

Fitchett (seven) and Lapka (six) provided Dryden’s set assists.

Gammon (five), Barker and Messerschmidt (three apiece), Phillips (two) and Fitchett (one) collected Dryden’s kills.

Barker (six), Phillips (four), Gammon (two) along with Wright and Fitchett (one each) registered Dryden’s digs.

Gammon, Phillips and Barker (one apiece) added Dryden’s blocks.
