Peake listed on Davenport’s roster

ALMONT — Avery Peake, a 2025 graduate of Almont High School, appears on the roster of the Davenport University women’s soccer team this fall.

Last spring Peake, a defender, provided Almont with 13 goals and three assists.

Those numbers earned her a spot on the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association Division 3 All-State lineup as a first team selection.

She was also an All-Region, All-District and All-Blue Water Area Conference first team choice.

With Peake’s help, Almont claimed a top district finish, won their first-ever regional title and earned a state semifinal appearance.

Davenport University kicks off the 2025 campaign Thursday, September 4 when it entertains Truman State at Farmer’s Insurance Athletic Complex in Caledonia. That matchup lists a 2 p.m. starting time.
