Imlay City 10U claims a top finish

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City 10U baseball squad went 4-1 en route to a number one showing at the Capac All-Star Tournament this past weekend.

The team began tournament play Friday with a 13-6 triumph against Capac.

Saturday saw Imlay City claim a 12-5 win over Armada.

Imlay City followed it up Sunday with a 17-2 victory over Armada and a 12-10 loss to Elba.

They then met Elba for first place honors. That battle drew to a close with Imlay City ahead 10-4.

Wyatt Rinke, Tanner Batz, Kam Kirts, William Beebe, Jase Skipinski, Colton Duffey, Louis Harder, Brantlee Gritzinger, Conner Bontrager, Isaac Krick, Breven Goertler, Camden Rhodes and Callaway Rhodes formed Imlay City’s roster. They were guided to a top finish by Roger Bontrager, Brian Beebe, Blaine Goertler and Jesse Rhodes.
