Veronica Soto, 56

Veronica Soto, age 56, of Imlay City, Michigan, died Friday, June 6, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Veronica Flores was born June 26, 1968 in Guanaguato, Mexico. She is the daughter of Jose and the late Sandalia (Lopez) Flores. She married Jose Lopez Soto on December 27, 1986. Veronica has lived in the Imlay City, MI area for 30 years.

She was employed as a Machine Operator by Rubber Enterprises for 20+ years. Veronica was employed by Bontana’s for several years.

Veronica loved to spend time with her grandchildren and garden.

She is survived by: her husband, Jose Lopez Soto; daughters, Lisette Soto of Imlay City, MI, Carol Soto of Imlay City, MI and Jessica Soto of Imlay City, MI; her son, Jose Soto of Imlay City, MI; and her father, Jose Flores. She is also survived by: her grandchildren, Alex, Juan, Delilah, Angel, Noah, Emiliano, Isa, Addali and Lucas; and her siblings, Jesus Flores, Guille Flores Rosillo, Jose Flores and Monica Flores Centeno.

The Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 700 Maple Vista, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Fr. Charles Altermatt officiated. Interment followed at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
