Cinco De Mayo in Imlay City Saturday

IMLAY CITY — The annual Cinco De Mayo celebration will be held Saturday, May 3 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. in downtown Imlay City. According to organizers with the Imlay City Hispanic Service Center, the event will take place around the area of the Third St. and Main St. Visitors will be able to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine from local restaurants including Botanas El Paiza, Jalisco Deli and El Ranchito. Among the special festivities are: a performance by Grupo Sin Fronteras, face painting, coloring crafts, a performance by Mariachi Cristal, carnival games, inflatables, pinata breaking, a taco eating contest and much more.
