Capac prevails over Marlette, 42-15
CAPAC — Capac picked up a 42-15 victory over visiting Marlette in a Big Thumb Conference wrestling clash last Wednesday night.
Sam Schneider, Zachary Stroup and Seth Turner led Capac with triumphs via the pinfall route. Schneider took 4:55 to stop 132-pound foe Wesley Chapin; Stroup needed 1:44 to conquer Anthony Rosario at 157 pounds; and Turner required 2:43 to defeat Lucas Hascall at 165 pounds.
Tyler McKenney (113), Ryan Grant (120), Alberto Chapa (126) and Ashton Frost (138) added wins by void to Capac’s cause.
With the results, Capac improves to 10-7 this season and 6-1 as far as BTC clashes are concerned.
