Stine, Campbell help team to first

TRI-CITY AREA — Imlay City’s Macie Stine and Almont’s Melina Campbell helped Tri-Valley Twisters 14U register a first-place finish at the Fenton Summer Slam recently.

The tournament was contested July 12-14.

Their team started things off with a 15-0 win against Irish 13U on Friday, July 12.

They then improved to 2-0, accomplishing the feat Saturday, July 13 with a 15-0 victory over Kitchener Klassics U15/U14.

Tri-Valley Twisters followed it up Sunday, July 14 with a 6-3 triumph against Kitchener Klassics Black 15U/14U and an 11-3 win over Michigan Classics Scheffler 14U, leaving with a first.
