SYNOPSIS
President Debra Hlubic called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Council members present were Joseph Herrington, Mary Klug, Lynne Mandeville, Joseph Nemecek, and Samantha Ramirez.
Village Manager Travis Youatt and Clerk LeAnn Brewer were also in attendance.
The following motions were approved: approval of the agenda for the regular meeting on June 28, 2024; approval of the minutes from the regular meeting held on June 17, 2024; approval of bills totaling $165,387.75; adoption of Resolution 2024-06 to tentatively award a construction contract for water system improvements; adoption of Resolution 2024-07 to tentatively award a construction contract for meters and meter reading system; adoption of Resolution 2024-08 to tentatively award a construction contract for arsenic removal plant and well improvements; adoption of Resolution 2024-09 to approve the closing on a purchase agreement; to approve the water supply system new debt charge by percentage of total billing based on current meter size/customer distribution (no commodity increase) effective July 1, 2024; to approve the budget amendments for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024; to approve the Special Event Permit for the Carl Scholz Memorial Car Show to be held on September 15, 2024.
