Hog Town Inc. donates $5.5K to United Hospice Service following charity run

MARLETTE — Members of Hog Town Inc. recently presented a $5,500 donation to United Hospice Service of Aspire Rural Health System following the organization’s 21st annual Hog Town Run.

The charity ride, held Aug. 8, drew motorcyclists from across Michigan to raise funds for end-of-life care. With this year’s contribution, Hog Town Inc. has donated more than $230,000 to the hospice program since the event’s inception.

Proceeds from the annual run directly support United Hospice Service in providing compassionate care to terminally ill patients and their families throughout Sanilac, Lapeer, Huron, Tuscola and St. Clair counties.
