Repair efforts continue after summer hailstorm in Mussey Twp.

MUSSEY TWP. — Contractors continue replacing shingled roofs across Mussey Township this week following a summer storm that battered the region with severe weather and large hail.

Insurance inspectors evaluated dozens of homes and local businesses along Capac and Imlay City roads after residents reported hail reaching up to 2 inches in diameter. Among the properties undergoing repairs is the Holly Meadows golf course clubhouse, located further north on Capac Road, which required a complete re-roofing.

Roofing crews remain active throughout the impacted corridor as recovery efforts move forward.
