Eads hits for two points in contest

IMLAY CITY — Imlay City’s Montanna Eads competed for the home team in a 41-36 loss to the away squad at the Blue Water Senior All-Star Girls’ Basketball Game last Thursday evening.

Imlay City High School is where the action unfolded.

In Thursday’s encounter, the home team jumped out to a 17-11 edge at the halftime break.

The away squad then  bounced back with a 30-17 advantage over the final 20 minutes of play, pulling out a 41-34 victory.

Eads finished the contest with two points.

She was joined on the home team by Molly Walker (Kingston), Gracie Pickelhaupt (St. Clair), Sofia Russell (St. Clair), Audrey Northrup (Marine City) and Mariah Turner (Port Huron High).

Sadie Dykstra (Yale), Camry Eveningred (Marysville), Annika Gellasch (Marysville), Ella McMillian (Cros-Lex), Kendal Quain (Marysville), Morgan Reams (Algonac), Arielle Runnals (Yale), Libby Tank (Deckerville) represented the away squad that evening.
