Brody Tesnow among state’s best

CAPAC — Capac had one of their players named among the state’s best when the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State lineup was announced this past week.

Brody Tesnow, a senior, received honorable mention All-State accolades for his play as an infielder.

He finished the season with 15 singles, 12 doubles, one triple and  one home run in 80 at bats.  That left him with a formidable .363 hitting clip.

Tesnow also scored 28 runs, collected 25 RBI  and was the recipient of 12 walks.

This was his fourth season on Capac’s squad.

With his help, Capac  ended the season as owners of an 18-11 overall mark. That included a 7-5 Big Thumb Conference Black Division mark, good for a two-way tie for third place.

Capac also earned a top Division 4 district finish.
