Imlay City, New Lothrop halve games

IMLAY CITY — Imlay City halved a non-league doubleheader versus visiting New Lothrop last Thursday.

In the opener, New Lothrop obtained a 7-4 win against Imlay City.

Montanna Eads (two doubles), Roslyn Bruman and Alexis Bruyere (a pair of singles each) along with Brooke Walls, Faith Schriber and Leelyn Craven (a single apiece) generated Imlay City’s hits.

In the second encounter, Imlay City bounced back with a 14-3 victory over New Lothrop.

Bruyere (five singles), Addison Brown (four singles), Alison Shafer (three singles), Makayla Bruman (two doubles), Macie Stine (a single and a double), Craven (two singles) plus Roslyn Bruman, Eads and Walls (a single each) managed Imlay City’s hits.

Roslyn Bruman was the winning Imlay City pitcher. She gave up nine hits, struck out three and walked two.
