Capac drops games at Brown City

CAPAC — The Capac varsity baseball squad dropped a pair of road contests against Big Thumb Conference Black Division rival Brown City this past week.

Capac opened that two-game stretch with a 1-0 setback to Brown City on Monday, May 18.

Axel Demaray led Capac in the weather-shortened matchup with a pair of singles. He was backed by Austin Howard (a single).

Two days later, Brown City pulled out a 13-11 victory over Capac.

Howard (a single, a double and a two-run homer), Tesnow (a single and a two-run homer), Jack McGeorge (two singles) along with Gabe Peters, Wiley Roose and Paul Swamba (a single each) generated Capac’s hits.

With the results, Capac now stands at 16-8 overall and 7-3 as far as Big Thumb Conference Black Division encounters are concerned.
