Almont soccer claims league title

 

ALMONT — The Almont girls’ soccer team made sure the Blue Water Area Conference Tournament title would belong to them at night’s end, accomplishing the feat with a 3-0 championship triumph against host Richmond last Friday.

With the outcome, Almont raises their mark to 12-2 overall.

Lola Battaglia (set up by Sophia Morfino), Callie McCarthy (assisted by Battaglia) and Battaglia (set up by Lilly Longo) supplied Almont’s goals.

Anna LaBroski was the winning Almont goalkeeper. She finished with nine saves.
