Almont gives Imlay City an 8-0 loss

TRI-CITY AREA — The Almont girls’ soccer team handed Imlay City an 8-0 setback in a semifinal round clash last Wednesday at the Blue Water Area Conference Tournament.

Richmond is where the match was contested.

Callie McCarthy (set up by Lola Battaglia), Battaglia (assisted by McCarthy), Battaglia (set up by McCarthy), Nora Yarbrough (assisted by McCarthy), Battaglia (set up by Natalia Radisavljevic), Battaglia (assisted by Radisavljevic), McCarthy (set up by Battaglia) and Yarbrough (assisted by Battaglia) supplied Almont’s goals.

Anna LaBroski was the winning Almont goalkeeper. She was credited with two saves,

Zoey Robertson and Angelina Galeana shared the goalkeeping responsibilities for Imlay City. They managed 10 and five saves, respectively.
