Special Meeting Synopsis
April 28, 2026
Meeting called to order by Supervisor Groesbeck at 9:00 a.m. at 819 N. Main Street, Almont, MI. Members present were Supervisor Groesbeck, Clerk Henige, Treasurer Streeter, and Trustees Chriss, Dodge, Eschenburg, and Sweers. The following actions were taken: 1.) approved continue negotiations with the Village for the police contract and rejected the $800,000 counteroffer from the Village, 2.) approved to engage with the sheriff to get hard numbers for a contract. Meeting adjourned at 11:51 a.m.
