Almont drops games to rival Yale
ALMONT — Almont wound up with a pair of losses to Yale in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity softball doubleheader it hosted on Tuesday, April 28.
In the opener, Yale picked up a 10-4 victory over Almont.
Vivian Asaro paced Almont with three singles. She was backed by Bella Ferrington (a double) along with Madi Derk, Cora Wangler and Melina Campbell (a single each).
In the second game, Yale registered an 8-5 triumph against Almont.
Anna Debczak (three singles) plus Wangler and Asaro (two singles) put up Almont’s top plate credentials. Emma Campbell (a double) supported their performances.
