Dryden splits games with Kingston

DRYDEN — Dryden halved a doubleheader with visiting Big Thumb Conference varsity baseball counterpart Kingston last Thursday.

In the opener, Kingston picked up an 8-0 victory over Dryden.

Dylan Lasher (two singles) along with Ian Tresnak, Jax Morley and Aiden Dunney (a single each) supplied Dryden’s hits.

In the second contest, Dryden registered a 7-3 triumph against Kingston.

Aiden Furneaux (a single and a double) paced Dryden’s offensive attack. He was backed by Tresnak (a pair of singles) plus Rowan Handley, Jayden Stankevich and Santiago Perales (a single apiece).

Furneaux was the winning Dryden pitcher. He allowed three hits, struck out seven and issued five walks.
