Chiefs second, Dryden takes fourth

TRI-CITY AREA — The Capac and Dryden boys’ golf squads wound up second and fourth, respectively, at a Big Thumb Conference Jamboree hosted by Holly Meadows Golf Course last Wednesday.

Sandusky edged Capac, 166-167, for team honors that day. They were followed by Kingston (168), Dryden (182), Brown City (185), Marlette (198), Ubly (200), Memphis (216) and North Huron (incomplete team).

For Capac, Sam Schneider and Luca Longo were low with 40s. The Chiefs also counted Hunter Richardson’s 43 and Adam Schaefer’s 44.

Gianni Coscione led Dryden with a 42 He was backed by Nick Abromaitis (43), Gavin Prusakiewicz (48) and Hayden Blair (49).
