Raiders rank fourth at Marlette

TRI-CITY AREA — The Almont (82 points), Dryden (34) and Capac (zero) boys’ track teams earned respective finishes of fourth, ninth and tied for 14th last Friday at the Marlette Invitational.

Brody Corneau, 300-meter hurdles, 44.47 seconds; and Colton Grzyb, 800 run, 2:08.40; led Almont with individual event firsts.

The Almont 3200-meter relay of Jamin Siewert, Benjamin Kline, Adam SaintOnge and Grzyb also prevailed. They were timed in 8:42.6.

Gabe Hibner, pole vault, 11 feet; provided Almont with second.

Corneau, 110 hurdles, 16.05 seconds; and SaintOnge, 800-meter run, 2:12.0; gave Almont thirds.

Levi Fitchett, 800 run, 2:10.62; paced Dryden with a second.
