LIONS PARK (BLACKS CORNERS ROAD) TO BE CLOSED FOR IMPROVEMENTS
Lions Park, located in the City of Imlay City, will be closed until further notice beginning Monday, April 13, 2026 due to construction. The City of Imlay City has received a 100% funded Michigan Department of Natural Resources Spark Grant with funding through the Council of Michigan Foundations in the amount of $969,000.00. The funds will be utilized to make improvements to the park that include; paving existing pathway with connector to the Polly Ann Trail, new parking areas, pavilion upgrades, new sidewalk, new play equipment, lighting the sled hill, trees, and more.
