Redmond gets a win for Rochester

ALMONT — Matthew Redmond, a graduate of Almont High School, was the pitcher of record for Rochester Christian in their 9-1 triumph against visiting UM-Dearborn on Monday, March 30.

In Monday’s matchup, Rochester Christian used a three-run first inning; a three-run second; a one-run fourth; and a two-run fifth to emerge victorious.

UM-Dearborn scored their lone run during the first inning of play.

Redmond, a sophomore, allowed one hit, struck out 10 and issued three walks en route to the complete game win.
