An ordinance to amend Section 26-107 of Chapter 26 of the Code of Ordinances regarding long-term parking in the Village’s municipal lot.
THE VILLAGE OF CAPAC HEREBY ORDAINS:
Section 1. Amendment of Section 26-107 of Chapter 26 of the Code of Ordinances.
The Village Council hereby amends Section 26-107 of Chapter 26 of the Code of Ordinances to read as follows:
Sec. 26-107. Long-term parking in the municipal lot.
Parking spaces along the south border of the municipal parking lot are hereby designated for 24-hour parking. To be in compliance with the conditions of using the long-term parking section of the municipal lot, the following steps shall be followed:
(1) The police department must be notified, and information concerning the owner’s name, address, license number, and length of stay shall be furnished.
(2) Persons who do not comply with the regulations for long-term parking would be treated as a 48-hour parking vehicle and dealt with accordingly.
Section 2. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect 15 days after publication. At a regular meeting of the Capac Village Council held on March 16, 2026, adoption of the foregoing ordinance was moved by Patricia Weyhrauch and supported by Lynne Mandeville.
Voting for: President Debra Hlubic, Mary Klug, Lynne Mandeville, Samantha Ramirz, and Patricia Weyhrauch.
Voting against: None
The president declared the ordinance adopted.
