Capac gives Memphis a setback

CAPAC — Capac handed visiting Memphis a 51-32 setback in a Big Thumb Conference Black Division varsity boys’ basketball clash last Wednesday night.

With the result, Capac improves to 5-6 overall.

In Wednesday’s clash, Capac grabbed a 12-5 edge after one quarter was over and widened the gap to 24-17 at the half.

Capac then outscored 27-15 from that point on, finishing off a 51-32 victory.

Austin Howard (19) along with Boston Vock, Bryce Lietz and Aaron Coltson (10 each) led Capac with double digit point totals. The Chiefs also had Brendan Bussone (two points) reach the scoring column.
