Rojas sixth at Hudson Super 16 Tournament

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City wrestling team registered one placewinning performance last Saturday at the Hudson Super 16 Tournament.

Hudson topped the standings with 209.5 points. They were followed by Hartland (161 points), Oxford (138.5), North Branch (90), Lapeer (86.5), Fenton (81), Riverview Gabriel Richard (77.5), Bronson (76.5), Martin (73), Manchester (63), Algonac (55.5), Springport (53), Leslie (52), Dundee (47.5), Gobles (46.5), Lainsburg (45.5), Utica (44.5), St. Johns (41.5), Carleton Airport (39), St. Louis (33.5), Gull Lake (30), Monroe (29), Coloma (28), Ida (27), Climax-Scotts (26), Decatur (20), Detroit Cass Tech (18,5), Imlay City (18), Ann Arbor Skyline (16), Michigan Center (15.5), Adrian Madison (14.5), Brooklyn Columbia Central and Erie Mason (13 each), Sand Creek (11), Chelsea and Union City (six apiece), Central Montcalm and Hillsdale (three each) along with Jonesville (zero).

Daniel Rojas headline for Imlay City that day, supplying a sixth. Rojas wrapped up 132-pound action when he was pinned by Oxford’s Landon Johnson with 2:32 elapsed.
