Bolday joins Capac Hall of Fame

CAPAC — Former wrestling and football standout Thomas Bolday was inducted into Capac’s Athletic Hall of Fame last Wednesday.

The ceremony took place prior to Capac’s duals with Big Thumb Conference wrestling rivals Cass City and Caro.

Bolday, a 2011 graduate, was a three-time All-Stater for Capac’s wrestling squad. He took 8th in 2009; third in 2010 and 2011.

Each of those seasons Bolday served as Capac team captain.

He concluded his stint with Capac’s wrestling program with most wins in a season (60), career victories (206), most team points and most team pins.

He also excelled at Capac on the gridiron, earning All-State first accolades as a linebacker and BWAC Defensive Player of the Year his senior year.

Bolday was Capac’s team captain his junior and senior campaigns.

In addition to this, Bolday competed for Capac’s track team one season.
