Dryden falls to Beecher

DRYDEN — Dryden fell 78-68 to host Flint Beecher in a non-league varsity boys basketball encounter Monday night.

With the decision, Flint Beecher goes to 4-3 overall. Dryden slips to 3-5 this season.

In Monday’s encounter, Dryden took a 16-14 edge after one quarter was over.

The next two quarters saw Flint Beecher amass 44 total points and Dryden manage 33. That staked them to a 58-49 cushion with 24 minutes gone.

Flint Beecher then outscored Dryden 20-19 the rest of way, finishing off a 78-68 victory.

Luke Taylor paced Dryden with 28 points. He was backed by Gianni Coscione (22 points), Brady Schneider (eight), Hayden Blair (five), Jax Morley (three) and Tyler Roberts (two).
