Capac falls by five points at home

CAPAC — Host Capac put up a good fight, only to drop a narrow 62-57 outcome to Millington in a non-league boys’ basketball confrontation last Friday night.
With the decision, Capac falls to 0-3 this season.
In Friday’s confrontation, Capac grabbed a 12-6 edge after one quarter had ended.
The middle two quarters saw Millington generate 37 total points and Capac manage 34, closing the gap to 46-43 with 24 minutes elapsed.
Millington then followed it up with a 19-11 fourth quarter rally, pulling out a 62-57 victory.
Boston Vock (12), Austin Howard (11) and Collin Potter (10, featuring a pair of treys) supplied the top Capac point totals. The Chiefs also had Wiley Roose (seven points), Nick Delia (six), Aaron Coltson and Brendan Bussone (four each) along with James Owens (three) connect.
