All-Area boys’ cross country named

TRI-CITY AREA — From the first meet until the last, these competitors set the standard for excellence.
Here is a look at who made the 2025 edition of The Tri-City Times All-Area boys’ cross country squad and the accomplishments they registered en route:
Logan Romain, Dryden.
Best effort: Romain supplied a 17:13.4 clocking en route to a fourth at a Division 4 regional on Saturday, October 25.
Wagener County Park is where the meet was contested.
Top finishes: The senior took first at the Big Thumb Conference Blue/Red League Meet; claimed fourth at a Wagener County Park-based Division 4 regional and the Foxes and Hounds Meet in Lake Orion; placed fifth at the Brown City-based Green Devil Invitational and 57th Annual Holly Duane Raffin Festival of Races; registered a seventh at the Dryden Cardinal Classic; furnished a 23rd at the Lamplighter Invitational; provided a 46th at the Greater Flint Cross Country Championships; plus added a 50th at the Division 4 state finals hosted by Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.
Levi Fitchett, Dryden.
Fitchett posted a time of 17:21.3 for seventh Saturday, October 25 at a Division 4 regional.

Top finishes: He registered fifth at the Lake Orion-based Fox and Hounds Meet and Big Thumb Conference Blue/Red League Meet; collected a sixth at the Brown City-based Green Devil Invitational; placed seventh at a Division regional hosted by Wagener County Park; generated an eighth at the Dryden Cardinal Classic; provided a ninth at the 57th Annual Holly-Duane Raffin Festival of Races; obtained a 13th at the Bad Axe-based Hatchet Invitational; claimed a 36th at the Greater Flint Cross Country Championships; plus tacked on an 80th during the Division 4 state finals at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.
Adam SaintOnge, Almont.
Best effort: SaintOnge registered a 17:37.5 clocking en route to 24th at a Division 3 regional on Saturday, October 25.

Top finishes: The senior garnered an eighth at the Mayville-based Dave Patterson Invitatiomal; generated 12th at the Mariner Invitational and at the Blue Water Conference League Meet hosted by Goodells County Park; notched a 13th at an Almont-based Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree Meet; supplied a 14th at the Cass City Invitational; claimed a 24th at a Division 3 regional hosted by Columbus County Park; took 31st at the Algonac Muskrat Classic Run; ranked 39th at the Autumn Classic; plus added a 39th at the Greater Flint Cross Country Championships.
Colton Grzyb, Almont.
Best effort: Grzyb managed at time of 17:49.8 for 22nd Saturday, September 6 at the Algonac Muskrat Classic Run.
Top finishes: The junior took seventh at the Mariner Invitational; placed eighth at the Cass City Invitational; garnered ninth at an Almont -based Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree Meet and Dave Patterson Invitational in Mayville; obtained a 10th at a Columbus County Park-based Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree Meet; pulled up 11th at the Goodells County Park-based Blue Water Area Conference League Meet; furnished a 22nd at the Algonac Muskrat Classic Run; collected a 35th during a Division 3 regional at Columbus County Park; supplied a 38th at Autumn Classic; plus tacked on a 58th at the Greater Flint Cross Country Championships.
Andrew SaintOnge, Almont

Top finishes: The sophomore placed 12th at the Mayville-based Dave Patterson Invitational; pulled up 16th at a Columbus County Park-based Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree Meet; generated a 17th at the Brown City-based Green Devil Invitational; obtained an 18th at the Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree Meet in Almont; managed a 22nd at the Cass City Invitational; pulled up 23rd at the Mariner Invitational; placed 28th at a Columbus County Park-based Division 3 regional; claimed a 47th at the Algonac Muskrat Classic Run; plus provided a 71st at the Greater Flint Championships.
Liam Bhatti, Imlay City.
Bhatti supplied a time of 18:16.5 for 48th on Friday. October 24 at a Division 3 regional in Shepherd.
The sophomore generated 15th at the Algonac Fox and Hounds Meet and Lake Orion Stan Ford Invitational; furnished 20th at the Mariner Invitational and the Goodells County Park-based Blue Water Area Conference League Meet; pulled up 22nd at a Columbus County Park-based Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree Meet; placed 34th at a Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree Meet in Almont; supplied a 45th at the Birch Run Fall Invitational; obtained a 48th at a Shepherd-based Division 2 regional; managed a 62nd at Brooks Mid Season Spectacular; and registered a 185th at the Autumn Classic.
Jamin Siewert, Almont.
Siewert managed an 18:28.7 clocking en route to a 36th at the Algonac Muskrat Classic Run on Saturday, September 6.
The junior provided a 15th at the Mariner Invitational; obtained a 17th at the Cass City Invitational; placed 22nd at a Columbus County Park-based Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree; took 23rd at the Green Devil Invitational in Brown City; generated a 26th at a Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree Meet in Almont; claimed a 44th at a Columbus County Park-based Division 3 regional; collected a 50th at the Dave Patterson Invitational; supplied a 66th at the Autumn Classic; and added a 100th at the Greater Flint Championships.

Coach of the Year- For directing her team to a second at a Division 4 regional and a 19th at the Division 4 state finals, Dryden Coach Emma Willett earns Tri-City Times All-Area Coach of the Year accolades.
