Prusakiewicz takes 12th at finals

Michigan International Speedway, in Brooklyn, is where the action unfolded.

Whitmore Lake (140 points) paced the field assembled.  They were followed by Hillsdale Academy (158 points), Buckley (168), Kalamazoo Hackett (174), Grand Traverse Academy (193), Maple City Glen Lake (216), Gobles (244), Concord (260), Martin (302), Petoskey St. Michael (303), Kingston (313), Lansing Christian (328), Ubly (334), Bellaire (340), Dryden (384), Petersburg-Summerfield (402), Royal Oak Shrine (419), Rogers City (444), Lutheran Westland (472), Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary (480), Novi Christian Academy (487), Breckenridge (488), Three Oaks River Valley (534), Fowler (560), Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart (607), Southfield Christian (651) and White Pigeon (715).

Cara Prusakiewicz led Dryden that day.  She took 12th, thanks to a school record-setting clocking of 19:36.8.

For her performance, Prusakiewicz earned All-State accolades (reserved for the top-30 finishers).

Claire Wright provided the next best Dryden showing.  She posted a 20:37.1 time for 39th.

Dryden also counted results from Ella Gustner, 97th, 21:51.9; Lilyana Lasher, 196th, 24:44.9; and Caila Fitchett, 212th, 26:15.8.

A total of 238 competitors finished the race.
