Cards fourth at Brown City

TRI-CITY AREA — The Dryden girls’ cross country squad wound up with 84 points and Almont managed 99 en route to respective finishes of fourth and fifth at the Brown City-based Green Devil Invitational on Tuesday, September 30.

Ubly won the team title with 69 points

Taylor Stanczak, 10th, 22:09.39; provided the top Almont finish. The Raiders also counted results from Laila Evola, 11th, 22:23.75; Melina Campbell, 27th, 24:42.04; Charlotte Verougstraete, 31st, 25:12.58; and Lillian Eason, 40th, 27:58.07.

Cara Prusakiewicz, second, 20:19.34; paced Dryden. She was backed by Claire Wright, 12th, 22:31.65; Ella Gustner, 14th, 22:36.62; Caila Fitchett, 33rd, 26:16.37; and Lilyana Lasher, 38th, 27:14.77.

Aubrey Beier represented Capac that day. She took 54th in 36:40.39.
