Let’s talk: Planning ahead with your family in mind
Dear Editor,
Family is everything – the timeless stories, the unforgettable memories, the unwavering love. This National Family Day, we invite you to celebrate the connections that matter most by having an important, meaningful conversation about planning for your future together.
Creating a will might sound daunting, but it’s really about caring for the people (and pets!) you love. It’s a moment to talk about your wishes, your family’s needs and the legacy you want to create for the future – together.
Since August was also National Make-A-Will Month, it’s the perfect time to start. And we’re here to make it easier with FreeWill, a free online resource that helps you:
• Start meaningful conversations about the future
• Document your wishes and protect your loved ones
• Reflect your family’s values in a lasting legacy
• Support causes you care about, like 4CCF’s Imagination Library or Feeding Families Forever Fund
Having a plan in place is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give your family. It offers clarity during uncertain times and helps your loved ones feel confident and supported in honoring your legacy. Instead of facing difficult decisions alone, your family can focus on what truly matters – caring for one another and carrying forward the values that connect you.
Let this National Family Day be the day where you come together, connect with care and plan with love.
Your family’s future – and your peace of mind – are worth it.
