Imlay City wins Frankenmuth title

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City varsity volleyball team opened their 2025 campaign with a first-place finish last Wednesday at the Eagle Invitational.

Frankenmuth High School is where the action unfolded.

Imlay City started things off with a 25-21. 25-14 pool play win against Anchor Bay. That was followed by a 25-19, 25-15 victory over Frankenmuth and a 26-24, 25-19 triumph against Grand Ledge.

Those outcomes earned Imlay City a Gold Bracket appearance. It was there the Spartans posted a 25-23, 25-20 win over Mount Pleasant and a 26-24, 25-13 victory against Skyline, assuring themselves of a top finish.
