Capac upends Landmark Academy

CAPAC — Capac handed visiting Landmark Academy a 25-12, 26-24, 25-18 setback in a non-league varsity volleyball meeting Monday night.

With the outcome, Capac improves to 1-4 overall.

Josephine King and Dellah Rodriguez handled the bulk of Capac’s playmaking responsibilities. They wound up with eight and five set assists, respectively.

Liliana Uribe-Arce (eight), Karina Ramirez (six), Madelynn Dudley (four) plus Ava Klink, Madison Clark and King (one each) furnished Capac’s kills.

Ava Thorner (seven), Ramirez (four), Marybeth Klein and Uribe-Arce (two apiece), Chloe Tice and Dudley (one apiece) managed Capac’s digs.

Thorner (five), Dudley and Ramirez (four each), King and Rodriguez (three apiece), Uribe-Arce (two) added Capac’s ace serves.
